Our area boasts some of the best cycle paths in the county. Enjoy a cycle and take in the scenery!
Our site is not far from the Derwent Walk railway path which is a popular 12 mile linear route between Consett and Swalwell. It follows National Cycle route 14 for the most part and is signposted very clearly. It leaves the Derwent Walk at the Country Park and continues down the River Tyne, joining the Keelman's Way at Blaydon. This route forms part of the C2C long distance cycle route!
